Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Admission

Master's Degree Requirement

The applicant should hold a master's degree (or equivalent) in the subject concerned with 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Relaxation for Reserved Categories

5% marks relaxation will be granted for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD categories following government guidelines.

M.Phil. Degree Holders

Some candidates who have passed M.Phil. are permitted a waiver of courses or direct admission, as specified by university norms.

NET/JRF/SLET Qualified

Some of the candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET, JRF, or SLET are exempted from writing the entrance test.

Professional Degrees

Candidates with professional degrees like CA, CS, ICWA, and equivalents can also apply in respective fields.

Step 3: Upload Mandatory Documents

ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID)
Master's degree certificates and mark sheets
M.Phil./NET/SLET/JRF certificates (if available)
Research Proposal (if explicitly requested during application)

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

Pay online (debit/credit card/net banking/UPI) the prescribed fee for the application. Retain the receipt of payment.
